Group of mountain bikers of all ages, great location in lovely village. A superb welcome on arrival that lasted until we left after 2 nights. The place is a gem, very high standards of equipment and layout. Showers 1st class and clever. Kitchen 100%. The decor is amazing if you take the time to notice. These guys know their business and deserve the trade, genuine service with a smile.So helpful, I think if you asked for a helicopter to the pub it would land in the big yard! Geared for outdoor type, bikers will not be wanting for anything here. Handy to great wee village.

Second year staying here for MTB trip with 7 other club members and cannot recommend highly enough. Seamus and Teresa are fantastic hosts. Hostel is extremely clean and the value for money is outstanding. Drying room and hose facility for MTB riders. Location is beautiful with lots of great scenery and some nice pubs in the village.

We also went for a road cycle on the following day and were able to go back in for a shower and change of clothes. Can't ask for more than that!

Can't speak highly enough of Ballyhoura Hostel, a group of us stayed overnight while attending a MTB race in Ballyhoura and the service was incredible, Seamus and Teresa are the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent shower facilities, comfy beds and a delightfully laid out banquet room. Plus secure parking which is a bonus when yo have expensive gear attached to the roof of your car! Will be back!

We stayed as a family as part of a MTB club trip. The welcome by Teresa and Seamus was second to none. A beautiful, very comfortable and very well equipped hostel. Lots of walking and cycling options on the doorstep for outdoor types and plenty of local information available for you if you need it. Based in a village setting with mini market, restaurants and takeaways on hand and secure parking for bikes (which was a big plus for us).

If you're in the area, or simply looking for a great place to spend a few days, make sure to experience this place for yourself.. ultimately it is Teresa and Seamus that will bring you back!

First time to stay here, very clean, the staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. In the town, so very handy to shop and pubs👍 Also very close to Ballyhoura MTB trails. Highly recommended, will definitely be back. 🍻😃

A dozen or so of us from a sports club spent the night in this wonderful little spot at the weekend and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. We were so well looked after by hosts Seamus & Teresa.

The place is excellently located and planned out, its spotless, super cosy, the dinner and breakfast are fantastic. Beds are really comfortable and rooms well ventilated. There's no noise at night. Toilet and Shower area's are immaculate. Communal eating and TV area's are A+ and Kilfinane is a great little spot for a few pints. This place is a little gem.

Perfect place to stay for our cycling training camp. The beds are comfy, the food is great, and the drying room and bike storage are so convenient if you're in the area for road or mountain biking.

Teresa and Seamus are so lovely and made a bunch of soggy, muddy cyclists feel very welcome. I'd recommend their place to anybody in this great part of the country.
